Representing Glenrothes & Central Fife at Westminster 2015 - 2024
The people of Glenrothes and Central Fife elected me as your MP in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
In June 2023 I announced that I would not be seeking re-election and following the then Prime Minister’s sudden decision to dissolve Parliament I ceased to be an MP on Thursday 30 May 2024.
This site still includes information pertaining to my time as an MP. Please bear with me while I remove or update this as necessary. In the meantime please note that as I am no longer an MP I cannot take up casework on behalf of constituents.
It has been a privilege beyond description to have served as MP for Glenrothes and Central Fife. In my retirement I will continue to support the SNP and to campaign for the restoration of Scotland's place as a sovereign independent European nation.
